Overview
In your Foundation Year, you’ll build key skills needed for both work and study. You’ll learn the basics of project management, leadership, and academic skills, with a focus on practical skills like time management, critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication.
The following year dives deeper into project management and business concepts. You’ll study project management theories, business principles, statistics, data analysis, and decision-making tools. You’ll also get hands-on experience with project management software.
As you move into Level 5, you’ll focus on key project management skills, such as quality and performance management, planning, and how to run projects effectively and sustainably. You’ll also improve your research skills in project management.
In your final year, you’ll explore advanced topics like risk management, managing global projects, and project management for innovation and change. These modules will build your confidence in handling changes and managing international projects. You’ll also work on a project to apply all the skills you’ve learned in real-life situations.
The Foundation Year provides you with essential skills for the next three years, where you'll gain practical experience in entrepreneurship and new venture management. The course covers business strategy, innovation, and how organizations drive economic growth and social change.
You'll apply your learning in real-world scenarios, building the business planning skills needed for success. Our expert faculty will guide you through launching and growing your own business, while offering personalised support for your academic and career goals.
The Bachelor of Commerce will prepare you to become a business professional in a wide range of careers. You’ll study a set of extensive and integrated foundation units that will orient you to business, followed by one or two majors to develop depth in your chosen discipline.
